  1. 1. Rinse the tuna fillets under cold water.
  2. 2. Pat the fillets completely dry with kitchen paper.
  3. 3. Place the dry fillets in a bowl.
  4. 4. Clean the spring onions and wash them.
  5. 5. Slice the spring onions diagonally into thin rounds.
  6. 6. Peel the ginger.
  7. 7. Grate the ginger finely.
  8. 8. Mix the grated ginger with the teriyaki sauce and balsamic vinegar.
  9. 9. Set aside the sliced spring onions for the marinade.
  10. 10. Pour the sauce mixture over the tuna fillets.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the spring onions over the fish.
  12. 12. Cover the bowl.
  13. 13. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  14. 14. Turn the fillets occasionally during the marinating time.
  15. 15. Remove the fillets from the sauce after marinating.
  16. 16. Let the excess marinade drain off the fillets.
  17. 17. Season the fillets to taste with salt and pepper.
  18. 18. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan.
  19. 19. Fry the fillets for 2 minutes on the first side.
  20. 20. Fry the fillets for 2 minutes on the second side.
  21. 21. Remove the fillets from the pan temporarily.
  22. 22. Put the sesame seeds on a flat plate.
  23. 23. Brush the fillets with some of the remaining marinade.
  24. 24. Press the fillets into the sesame seeds so they are covered all around.
  25. 25. Place the sesame-covered fillets back into the hot pan.
  26. 26. Fry the fillets for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  27. 27. Serve the fish with the remaining marinade.
