🍽️ Three Delicious Mozzarella Dips

Ingredients
- 500 g mozzarella
- 1 shallot (chopped)
- 400 g tomatoes chunky (can)
- 2 garlic cloves (chopped)
- 10 tbsp olive oil
- 2 oranges (of which the juice)
- 4 tbsp white balsamic
- 1 bunch basil
- 2 tbsp almond kernels
- 200 g yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
- 2. Add diced shallots and garlic to the hot oil.
- 3. Sauté the vegetables briefly until they become soft.
- 4. Add chopped tomatoes and orange juice.
- 5. Stir 2 tablespoons of vinegar into the mixture.
- 6. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat.
- 7. Season the sauce with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- 8. Put almonds, basil leaves, 5 tablespoons of oil, and 2 tablespoons of vinegar into a blender.
- 9. Blend the ingredients roughly into a paste.
- 10. Taste the almond-basil mixture and adjust with salt and pepper.
- 11. Whisk yogurt with the remaining oil and lemon juice in a bowl.
- 12. Stir some sugar into the yogurt mixture.
- 13. Season the yogurt sauce with cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- 14. Slice the drained mozzarella.
- 15. Divide the mozzarella slices among three small bowls.
- 16. Pour the first marinade over the mozzarella slices in the first bowl.
- 17. Pour the second marinade over the mozzarella slices in the second bowl.
- 18. Pour the third marinade over the mozzarella slices in the third bowl.
- 19. Let the mozzarella slices marinate in the sauces for about 30 minutes.
- 20. Garnish the yogurt-mozzarella bowl with fresh mint leaves.
- 21. Serve toasted white bread slices on the side.
