  3. 3. Add the pumpkin cubes, vinegar, apple juice, lemon juice, cloves, anise, sugar, and salt to a pot.
  4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. 5. Reduce the heat to a low flame.
  6. 6. Cook the pumpkin for about 10 minutes until it is tender but still firm to the bite.
  7. 7. Fill the hot mixture immediately into prepared jars.
  8. 8. Seal the jars tightly immediately.
  9. 9. Allow the jars to cool down.
  10. 10. Let the pumpkin marinate for at least two days before eating.
