🍽️ Tender Spare Ribs in Savory Marinade

Ingredients
- 2 kg pork ribs
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 ml tomato puree
- 50 ml ketchup
- 100 ml honey
- 60 ml orange juice
- 60 ml apple cider vinegar
- 60 ml soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp ginger (finely grated)
- pepper (white)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the pork spare ribs under running water.
- 2. Pat the ribs completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Divide the ribs into four equal pieces.
- 4. Peel the garlic cloves of their skin.
- 5. Press the garlic through a garlic press.
- 6. Whisk all marinade ingredients together in a bowl.
- 7. Place the ribs into the marinade.
- 8. Seal the marinade container well.
- 9. Place the marinade in the refrigerator for about 24 hours.
- 10. Turn the ribs repeatedly during the marinating time.
- 11. Preheat the grill to the desired temperature.
- 12. Remove the spare ribs from the marinade.
- 13. Let the excess marinade drip off the ribs.
- 14. Place the ribs on the hot grill with the meat side down.
- 15. Grill the ribs for about 10 minutes.
- 16. Brush the ribs repeatedly with some marinade while grilling.
- 17. Turn the ribs after 10 minutes.
- 18. Grill the ribs for another 10 minutes.
- 19. Also coat the ribs regularly with marinade during this time.
- 20. Arrange the finished spare ribs on plates.
- 21. Cut the ribs into smaller pieces if necessary.
- 22. Serve the spare ribs together with potato wedges.
