  6. 6. Peel one onion and one clove of garlic.
  7. 7. Halve the onion and the garlic clove.
  8. 8. Add the onion and garlic to the boiling water.
  9. 9. Let the spare ribs simmer for about 30 minutes over medium heat.
  10. 10. Peel the second onion.
  11. 11. Dice the onion into small cubes.
  12. 12. Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  13. 13. Sauté the onion cubes until translucent and soft.
  14. 14. Peel the remaining garlic clove.
  15. 15. Press the garlic directly into the pan with the onion.
  16. 16. Deglaze the pan with broth.
  17. 17. Pour in the orange juice.
  18. 18. Let the liquid reduce slightly until it thickens.

  20. 20. Pour the mixture into a separate bowl.
