🍽️ Freshly Marinated Sardines

Ingredients
- 4 large sardines
- 1 sachet saffron
- 8 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lemon juice
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika powder
- salt
- 1 blue onion
- 1 sprig parsley
Instructions
- 1. Wash the sardines thoroughly, remove the scales and heads. Cut the fish in half lengthwise and carefully remove all bones. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings. Wash the parsley and shake it dry.
- 2. Whisk the oil, saffron, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt into a smooth marinade. Place the fish halves in it and refrigerate for at least one hour to let the flavors develop.
- 3. Take the marinated sardines out of the fridge. Arrange them on a plate, garnish with the onion rings and parsley. Finish by sprinkling with paprika powder and serve.
- 4. Let your guests place the fish on the grill themselves. They can also grill vegetables, fresh bread, and potatoes as they please.
