Ingredients
- 4 smaller blood oranges
- 40 ml Marsala
- 40 ml orange liqueur
- Juice of one blood orange
- 0.5 tsp ground vanilla
- Mint (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the oranges completely with a sharp knife, removing the white pith as well. Slice them crosswise into about 0.5 cm thick slices and catch the juice that comes out.
- 2. Mix Marsala, orange liqueur, and the collected orange juice with the vanilla. Pour the marinade over the orange slices and let them marinate for 1 hour. Arrange the slices with some sauce in dessert bowls and garnish with mint.
