  3. 3. Cut the cucumber halves into thick slices.
  4. 4. Wash the spring onions thoroughly.
  5. 5. Remove the dry ends of the spring onions.
  6. 6. Slice the spring onions into thin rings.
  7. 7. Add the vinegar, about 300 milliliters of water, the honey, the salt, and the spices to a pot.
  8. 8. Bring the liquid to a boil.
  9. 9. Add the cucumber slices to the boiling liquid.
  10. 10. Let the cucumbers cook briefly.
  11. 11. Lift the cucumbers out of the liquid using a slotted spoon.
  12. 12. Distribute the cucumbers onto prepared jars.
  13. 13. Pour the hot liquid over the cucumbers in the jars.
  14. 14. Seal the jars tightly.
  15. 15. Let the jars cool down at room temperature.
  16. 16. Let the cucumbers marinate for about 4 weeks before consuming.
