🍽️ Marinated Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breast fillet
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp medium-hot mustard
- pepper (from the mill)
- salt
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken breast under running water.
- 2. Pat the meat dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut the chicken meat into bite-sized cubes.
- 4. Rinse the chili pepper under running water.
- 5. Cut the chili pepper in half lengthwise.
- 6. Remove the seeds and white pith from the chili.
- 7. Finely chop the chili.
- 8. Whisk the oil in a bowl with the soy sauce.
- 9. Add the grated ginger to the marinade.
- 10. Add the curry powder.
- 11. Add the lime juice.
- 12. Sprinkle in the sugar.
- 13. Add the mustard to the mixture.
- 14. Season with black pepper.
- 15. Stir the finely chopped chili into the marinade.
- 16. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade.
- 17. Mix everything well so that the meat is evenly coated.
- 18. Cover the bowl.
- 19. Place the bowl in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
- 20. Preheat the grill.
- 21. Thread the marinated meat onto four wooden skewers.
- 22. Place the skewers on the hot grill.
- 23. Grill the skewers on each side for 4 to 5 minutes.
- 24. Sprinkle the finished skewers with fresh parsley.
- 25. Serve the skewers immediately.
