🍽️ Crispy Chicken Wings with Yogurt Marinade

Ingredients
- 1.2 kg chicken wings
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 200 g yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tsp paprika powder (hot)
- salt
- 2 tbsp coriander greens
- parchment paper (for the baking sheet)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water.
- 2. Pat them dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Break the wings into two pieces at the joints.
- 4. Peel the garlic cloves.
- 5. Mix the yogurt, lemon juice, and paprika powder in a bowl.
- 6. Squeeze the garlic into the yogurt mixture.
- 7. Toss the chicken pieces in the marinade until fully coated.
- 8. Cover the bowl.
- 9. Place it in the refrigerator overnight to let the flavors develop.
- 10. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 11. Place the tray on the second rack from the bottom in the oven.
- 12. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade.
- 13. Pat them dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
- 14. Season them lightly with salt.
- 15. Oil a grill rack.
- 16. Place the chicken pieces on the grill rack above the baking sheet.
- 17. Roast them in the preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (convection) or 220 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes.
- 18. Turn the pieces.
- 19. Roast for another 10 minutes.
- 20. Switch on the grill function to brown the wings until crispy.
- 21. Turn them once halfway through the grilling.
- 22. Serve the finished chicken wings on a large platter.
- 23. Sprinkle fresh cilantro leaves over them.
- 24. Enjoy the dish.
