🍽️ Pickled Chili Cucumbers

Ingredients
- 500 g fresh pickling cucumber
- 4 shallots
- 2 fresh red chili peppers
- 100 ml white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp allspice berries
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and pat them dry. Then cut them into cubes of about 2 cm.
- 2. Fill the cucumber pieces into the clean jars. Peel the shallots and cut them into quarters. Wash the chili peppers, halve them, and remove the seeds.
- 3. Bring 250 ml of water to a boil with vinegar, honey, soy sauce, allspice berries, peppercorns, salt, shallots, and chili peppers. Let the liquid cool down slightly and pour it over the cucumbers. Seal the jars and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
