🍽️ Marinated Artichokes

Ingredients
- 6 small, young artichokes
- salt
- juice of one lemon
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp thyme leaves
- baguette
Instructions
- 1. Cut off the stems of the artichokes.
- 2. Pull off the bottom leaves.
- 3. Cut off the hard tips of the leaves.
- 4. Cut the artichokes in half lengthwise, then into quarters.
- 5. Bring water to a boil with salt and lemon juice.
- 6. Cook the artichokes in the water for about 20 minutes.
- 7. Let the artichokes drain.
- 8. Whisk vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper together to make a sauce.
- 9. Stir thyme into the sauce.
- 10. Let the artichokes marinate in the sauce for a while.
- 11. Serve the artichokes with baguette.
