🍽️ Mustard-Honey Marinade

Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 1 apple
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 250 ml light beer
- 3 tbsp grainy mustard
- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes.
- 2. Peel the apple, cut it into quarters, and remove the core.
- 3. Cut the apple quarters into small cubes as well.
- 4. Heat some oil in a small pot.
- 5. Add the onions and apple to the pot and sauté them briefly.
- 6. Stir the honey into the onions and apple.
- 7. Deglaze the mixture with the beer.
- 8. Stir the mustard into the sauce.
- 9. Let the marinade simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes until it thickens.
- 10. Puree the marinade smoothly with a blender.
- 11. Season the marinade with vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste.
- 12. Let the marinade cool down completely.
