🍽️ Crispy Mango Tarts

Ingredients
- 1 package puff pastry (frozen)
- 2 ripe mangoes
- sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp apricot jam
- whipping cream (for garnishing)
Instructions
- 1. Let the puff pastry thaw at room temperature.
- 2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until thin.
- 3. Cut out circles with a 15 cm diameter using a round cutter.
- 4. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- 6. Peel the mangoes.
- 7. Carefully slice the flesh away from the pits.
- 8. Gently warm the butter until it is liquid.
- 9. Brush the puff pastry circles with the butter.
- 10. Sprinkle each circle with one teaspoon of sugar.
- 11. Arrange the mango pieces in a circle on top.
- 12. Make sure to leave a small border of about 1 cm.
- 13. Reduce the oven temperature to 160 degrees fan-forced.
- 14. Bake the tarts for 20 minutes.
- 15. Heat the apricot jam with one tablespoon of water in a pot.
- 16. Generously brush the finished tarts with the liquid jam.
- 17. Let the tarts cool down completely.
- 18. Serve them garnished with whipped cream.
- 19. Finally, sprinkle them with ground almonds.
