  1. 1. Let the puff pastry thaw at room temperature.
  2. 2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until thin.
  3. 3. Cut out circles with a 15 cm diameter using a round cutter.
  4. 4. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  6. 6. Peel the mangoes.
  7. 7. Carefully slice the flesh away from the pits.
  8. 8. Gently warm the butter until it is liquid.
  9. 9. Brush the puff pastry circles with the butter.
  10. 10. Sprinkle each circle with one teaspoon of sugar.
  11. 11. Arrange the mango pieces in a circle on top.
  12. 12. Make sure to leave a small border of about 1 cm.
  13. 13. Reduce the oven temperature to 160 degrees fan-forced.
  14. 14. Bake the tarts for 20 minutes.
  15. 15. Heat the apricot jam with one tablespoon of water in a pot.
  16. 16. Generously brush the finished tarts with the liquid jam.
  17. 17. Let the tarts cool down completely.
  18. 18. Serve them garnished with whipped cream.
  19. 19. Finally, sprinkle them with ground almonds.
