  2. 2. Peel the onion, garlic, and potatoes.
  3. 3. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  4. 4. Dice the onion and garlic very finely.
  5. 5. Wash the chili pepper.
  6. 6. Halve the chili pepper and remove the seeds.
  7. 7. Finely chop the chili pepper.
  8. 8. Wash the chard.
  9. 9. Remove the tough stems from the chard.
  10. 10. Cut the chard leaves into thin strips.
  11. 11. Add some oil to the hot pot.
  12. 12. Sauté the chili pepper, garlic, and ginger briefly in the hot oil.
  13. 13. Add the chard to the spices.
  14. 14. Stir the chard until it has wilted.
  15. 15. Pour the vegetable broth into the pot.
  16. 16. Add the potato cubes to the soup.
  17. 17. Season the soup with salt to taste.
  18. 18. Simmer the soup on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  19. 19. Season the soup with salt and nutmeg.
  20. 20. Fill the soup into small bowls.
