  2. 2. Bring the mixture to a boil on the stove.
  3. 3. Let the liquid simmer gently for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove the pot from the heat once the sugar is completely dissolved.
  5. 5. Let the mixture cool down in the pot.
  6. 6. Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh away from the pit.
  7. 7. Puree the mango flesh in a mixer.
  8. 8. Add the cooled syrup mixture to the puree and blend everything into a smooth mass.
  9. 9. Choose a preparation method: Use an ice cream maker or a shallow metal dish.
  10. 10. If using an ice cream maker, pour in the mixture and process it.
  11. 11. If choosing the dish method, pour the mixture into the shallow metal dish.
  12. 12. Cover the dish and place it in the freezer for at least 4 hours.
  13. 13. Stir the mixture vigorously with a fork several times during the freezing process.
  14. 14. Scoop balls of the finished ice cream using an ice cream scoop.
  15. 15. Fill the ice cream balls into coconut shell halves.
  16. 16. Serve the ice cream as you like.
