  1. 1. Wash the lime thoroughly under hot water.
  2. 2. Grate the lime peel into fine zest strips using a grater.
  3. 3. Squeeze the juice out of the lime.
  4. 4. Peel the mangoes and carefully cut the flesh away from the pit.
  5. 5. Set aside four nice slices of the flesh to use for garnishing later.
  6. 6. Put the remaining mango flesh, lime juice, ice cubes, and syrup to your taste into the blender.
  7. 7. Blend the mixture in the blender until it is fine and smooth.
  8. 8. Distribute the puree evenly across several glasses.
  9. 9. Fill the glasses with ice-cold water.
  10. 10. Decorate each drink with the reserved mango slices and lime zest.
  11. 11. Serve the drink immediately.
