🍽️ Grilled Mango with Pineapple Citrus Dressing

Ingredients
- 150 g pineapple flesh (fresh)
- 1 untreated lime
- 1 untreated lemon
- 2 cm ginger
- 4 tbsp honey
- 20 ml white rum
- 4 ripe mangoes
- vegetable oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- 1. Dice the pineapple flesh into small cubes.
- 2. Wash the lime and lemon under hot water and pat them dry.
- 3. Grate the zest from both fruits finely.
- 4. Squeeze the juice from the lime and the lemon.
- 5. Peel the ginger and chop it very finely.
- 6. Heat the citrus juices, the zest, the honey, and the rum in a pot.
- 7. Add the pineapple cubes and remove the pot from the heat immediately.
- 8. Let the mixture steep briefly so the flavors can meld.
- 9. Wash the mangoes and cut them lengthwise close to the pit into two halves.
- 10. Lightly brush the cut surfaces of the mango halves with oil.
- 11. Place the mango halves on the hot grill.
- 12. Grill them all around for about 10 minutes.
- 13. Arrange the grilled mangoes on the plates.
- 14. Drizzle the prepared pineapple sauce over the mangoes and serve.
