🍽️ Fruity Chutney Made with Mango and Kumquat

Ingredients
- 2 mangoes
- 100 g kumquats
- 0.25 l apple cider vinegar
- 250 g sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp cardamom seeds
- 0.5 tsp fennel seeds
Instructions
- 1. Peel the mangoes.
- 2. Remove the pit from the fruit.
- 3. Cut the flesh into small cubes.
- 4. Wash the kumquats thoroughly.
- 5. Slice the kumquats into thin rounds.
- 6. Remove the seeds from the kumquat slices.
- 7. Add the mango cubes and kumquats to a pot.
- 8. Pour in the apple cider vinegar.
- 9. Let the mixture boil for 10 minutes.
- 10. Stir in the sugar.
- 11. Add the salt.
- 12. Add the spices to the pot.
- 13. Reduce the heat to a low setting.
- 14. Stir the chutney frequently.
- 15. Simmer it for 40 to 50 minutes.
- 16. Stop cooking when the mixture has become thick.
- 17. Get the prepared Twist-Off jars ready.
- 18. Fill the hot chutney to the brim into the jars.
- 19. Seal the jars immediately.
