  5. 5. Stir the milk into the yeast-sugar mixture.
  6. 6. Distribute the butter around the flour ring surrounding the well.
  7. 7. Cover the bowl.
  8. 8. Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place for about 30 minutes.
  9. 9. Wait until the surface of the dough shows cracks.
  10. 10. Add the eggs, the remaining sugar, and the salt to the pre-dough.
  11. 11. Knead everything into a smooth and elastic dough.
  12. 12. If the dough is too dry, add a little flour.
  13. 13. If the dough is too sticky, add a little milk.
  14. 14. Cover the bowl again.
  15. 15. Let the dough rise for another 60 minutes in a warm, draft-free place.
  16. 16. Wait until the volume of the dough has doubled.
  17. 17. Knead the dough once more briefly.
