  6. 6. Let this starter mixture rest for 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Now add all the remaining ingredients to the dough.
  8. 8. Knead everything together into a smooth dough.
  9. 9. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes.
  10. 10. Wait until the volume of the dough has doubled.
  11. 11. Sprinkle some flour on your work surface.
  12. 12. Knead the dough there once more briefly.
  13. 13. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
  14. 14. Shape each part into a stollen.
  15. 15. Place the stollen on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  16. 16. Let the stollen rise again for 20 to 25 minutes.
  17. 17. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  18. 18. Bake the stollen in the oven for about 1 hour.
