  1. 1. Grind half of the almonds into fine flour and chop the other half finely.
  2. 2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan. Toast the chopped and ground almonds in it briefly. Pour in the cream and let the mixture simmer for 3 to 4 minutes while stirring constantly.
  3. 3. Stir in the grated lemon zest and ground nutmeg. Transfer the sauce to a bowl and serve it garnished with almond slices and fresh dill.
