  3. 3. Wrap the dough ball in cling film.
  4. 4. Place the foil-wrapped dough in the refrigerator for one hour.
  5. 5. Lightly dust a work surface with flour.
  6. 6. Roll out the dough on the floured surface to a thickness of three millimeters.
  7. 7. Cut out triangles from the dough.
  8. 8. Place the triangles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  9. 9. Whisk one egg yolk with two tablespoons of water.
  10. 10. Brush the cookies with the egg yolk and water mixture.
  11. 11. Sprinkle the cookies with almond slivers.
