🍽️ Crunchy Almond Cookies

Ingredients
- 100 g soft butter
- 60 g powdered sugar
- 100 g flour
- 100 g ground almond kernels
- 1 egg yolk
- 5 tbsp Amaretto
- 70 peeled chopped almond kernels
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter and powdered sugar in a bowl until the mixture looks light and fluffy.
- 2. Stir in the flour, ground almonds, egg yolk, and Amaretto liqueur into the butter mixture.
- 3. Knead the ingredients together by hand to form a soft dough.
- 4. Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap.
- 5. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to let it firm up.
- 6. Take small portions of the dough and roll them into balls with a diameter of about 2 centimeters.
- 7. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 8. Press the balls down slightly.
- 9. Press a few peeled and chopped almonds into each cookie.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 11. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
- 12. Remove the baking sheet from the oven.
- 13. Let the cookies cool down briefly on the tray.
- 14. Place the cookies on a wire rack to let them cool completely.
