  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius with convection (fan).
  2. 2. Put butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt into a large bowl.
  3. 3. Beat the ingredients with a hand mixer until the mixture is creamy and airy.
  4. 4. Add the eggs one by one and beat the mixture for another 3 minutes.
  5. 5. Mix baking powder, flour, and ground almonds in a separate bowl.
  6. 6. Gently fold the dry mixture into the batter until it is smooth.
  7. 7. Fill the batter into your prepared molds.
  8. 8. Decorate the surface with a few whole almonds.
  9. 9. Place the molds on a baking rack.
  10. 10. Bake the cake in the preheated oven (center) for about 45 minutes.
  11. 11. Remove the molds from the oven.
  12. 12. Let the cake cool in the molds for 15 minutes.
  13. 13. Take the cake out of the molds.
