🍽️ Crunchy Almond Cinnamon Stars

Ingredients
- 450 g almond kernels
- 4 egg whites
- 1 pinch salt
- 300 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 30 almond kernels
Instructions
- 1. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until very stiff. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar and lemon juice. Gently fold in the ground almonds and cinnamon.
- 2. Roll out the dough in portions to a thickness of about 5 mm. Cut out 30 stars and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 3. Press one whole almond into the center of each star. Bake the stars on the middle rack in the preheated oven at 160 degrees for about 25 minutes. Carefully remove the stars from the baking paper and let them cool on a wire rack.
