🥤 Crunchy Almond Orange Smoothie

Ingredients
- 0.5 organic orange
- 20 g chopped almond kernels (1 heaped tbsp)
- 125 ml soy drink (soy milk)
- 100 ml yogurt (1.5% fat)
- 2 tsp almond syrup (to taste)
- Also: ice cubes
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the half orange under hot water and pat it dry.
- 2. Cut a thin slice from the orange and set it aside.
- 3. Squeeze the rest of the orange.
- 4. Place one tablespoon of orange juice on a small plate.
- 5. Place about half a tablespoon of almonds on another small plate.
- 6. Chop the almonds finer if necessary.
- 7. Dip the rim of a glass into the orange juice first.
- 8. Then dip the rim of the glass into the chopped almonds.
- 9. Set the prepared glass aside.
- 10. Place the remaining orange juice in a stand mixer.
- 11. Add the remaining almonds to the mixer.
- 12. Add the soy drink to the mixer.
- 13. Add the yogurt to the mixer.
- 14. Add almond syrup to the mixer if desired.
- 15. Mix the ingredients briefly.
- 16. Add ice cubes to the prepared glass.
- 17. Pour the smoothie into the glass.
- 18. Garnish the smoothie with the orange slice.
