🍰 Crunchy Almond Chocolate Truffles

Ingredients
- 300 g almond sticks
- 0.5 untreated orange
- 2 tbsp candied ginger
- 350 g dark chocolate (at least 50% cocoa content)
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large pan without oil or butter.
- 2. Roast the almond sticks in it over medium heat until they are light brown and smell fragrant.
- 3. Remove the almonds from the pan and let them cool down completely.
- 4. Wash the orange under hot water and dry it well.
- 5. Grate the orange peel finely.
- 6. Mince the ginger as finely as possible.
- 7. Chop the chocolate into coarse pieces.
- 8. Melt the chocolate over a bowl of hot water (bain-marie).
- 9. Stir the cooled almonds, orange peel, and ginger into the melted chocolate.
- 10. Dip two small spoons briefly into cold water.
- 11. Use the spoons to take small portions of the almond-chocolate mixture.
- 12. Place each portion into a chocolate cup (a small paper mold).
- 13. Place the finished treats in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours until they are firm.
