🍽️ Crunchy Chocolate-Almond Stars

Ingredients
- 125 g Butter
- 100 g fine sugar
- 0.5 vanilla pod
- 4 egg yolks
- 60 g ground almond kernels
- 100 g grated dark chocolate
- 125 g flour
- 75 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 100 g dark couverture chocolate
Instructions
- 1. Beat the butter, sugar, vanilla seeds, and egg with a hand mixer until the mixture is creamy and fluffy.
- 2. Stir the ground almonds and grated chocolate into the mixture.
- 3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and starch.
- 4. Quickly knead the ingredients together into a soft dough.
- 5. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap.
- 6. Let the dough chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- 7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 8. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a thickness of 3 millimeters.
- 9. Cut star shapes from the dough.
- 10. Place the stars on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 11. Bake the stars in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
- 12. Remove the tray.
- 13. Let the stars cool completely on a wire rack.
- 14. Melt the chocolate coating in a double boiler.
- 15. Coat half of the cooled stars with the chocolate.
