Ingredients
- 30 g Manchego (finely grated)
- 50 g almond kernels
- 150 ml vegetable broth
- 0.5 sachet saffron
- 2 tbsp sliced almond kernels (roasted)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Place the saffron threads in a small bowl.
- 2. Pour a little warm vegetable broth over the threads.
- 3. Let the saffron threads soak in the broth until they dissolve.
- 4. Gather all the remaining ingredients for the sauce.
- 5. Mix these ingredients in a separate bowl with the saffron broth.
- 6. Stir the mixture vigorously until it is completely smooth.
- 7. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- 8. Sprinkle the finished sauce with the sliced almonds.
