🍽️ Creamy Almond Cheese Dip

Ingredients
- 400 g cream cheese
- 100 ml whipping cream
- 1 bunch mixed fresh herbs (e.g. parsley, oregano, basil, tarragon)
- 1 shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 100 g sliced almonds
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Mix the cream cheese with the cream until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- 2. Wash the fresh herbs thoroughly and shake them dry.
- 3. Remove any thick stems from the herbs and then chop them very finely.
- 4. Peel the shallot and the garlic clove.
- 5. Also chop the shallot and garlic very finely.
- 6. Fold in the chopped herbs, shallot, and garlic into the cheese-cream mixture.
- 7. Heat a pan and toast the sliced almonds in it briefly until they are fragrant.
- 8. Set aside about two-thirds of the toasted almond slices.
- 9. Stir the remaining toasted almond slices into the cheese cream.
- 10. Season the dip to taste with salt and pepper.
- 11. Transfer the finished dip into a bowl or onto a plate.
- 12. Sprinkle the reserved almond slices over the surface.
