  1. 1. Mix the cream cheese with the cream until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. 2. Wash the fresh herbs thoroughly and shake them dry.
  3. 3. Remove any thick stems from the herbs and then chop them very finely.
  4. 4. Peel the shallot and the garlic clove.
  5. 5. Also chop the shallot and garlic very finely.
  6. 6. Fold in the chopped herbs, shallot, and garlic into the cheese-cream mixture.
  7. 7. Heat a pan and toast the sliced almonds in it briefly until they are fragrant.
  8. 8. Set aside about two-thirds of the toasted almond slices.
  9. 9. Stir the remaining toasted almond slices into the cheese cream.
  10. 10. Season the dip to taste with salt and pepper.
  11. 11. Transfer the finished dip into a bowl or onto a plate.
  12. 12. Sprinkle the reserved almond slices over the surface.
