  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius with fan setting.
  2. 2. Finely chop the dried fruits.
  3. 3. Add the chopped dried fruits, raisins, almonds, oat flakes, spelt flakes, and cane sugar to a large bowl.
  4. 4. Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly together.
  5. 5. Place the beet syrup and butter in a small saucepan.
  6. 6. Slowly heat the mixture in the saucepan while stirring until everything is combined.
  7. 7. Pour the warm syrup and butter mixture over the muesli mixture in the bowl.
  8. 8. Stir everything well so that the dried fruits and nuts are evenly coated with the mixture.
  9. 9. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  10. 10. Spread the mixture evenly on the tray.
  11. 11. Press the layer to a thickness of about 1 centimeter.
  12. 12. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
  13. 13. Bake the bars for 20 to 25 minutes until they are lightly golden brown.
  14. 14. Remove the tray from the oven.
  15. 15. Cut the baked mass into strips about 5 centimeters wide and 10 centimeters long.
  16. 16. Place the bars on a wire cooling rack.
  17. 17. Let the bars cool down completely.
