🍳 Citrus Quark with Ginger and Nuts

Ingredients
- 1 piece fresh ginger (10 g)
- 5 mandarins
- 250 g quark (20 % fat)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 10 hazelnut kernels (peeled)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the ginger root.
- 2. Finely chop the ginger.
- 3. Squeeze the juice from two mandarins.
- 4. Stir the mandarin juice into the quark.
- 5. Peel the remaining mandarins.
- 6. Cut the mandarin segments into small cubes.
- 7. Stir the maple syrup into the quark.
- 8. Fold the finely chopped ginger into the quark.
- 9. Roughly chop the nuts.
- 10. Toast the nuts in a pan without fat until golden brown.
- 11. Sprinkle the toasted nuts over the finished mandarin quark.
