🍽️ Grilled Mackerel with Herbs and Lime

Ingredients
- 4 Mackerel (approx. 300 g each; ready for the kitchen)
- 2 Organic Limes
- 1 Handful Mediterranean Herbs (e.g. Marjoram and Rosemary)
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the mackerels under running water.
- 2. Pat the fish completely dry with kitchen paper.
- 3. Wash the herbs under running water.
- 4. Pat the herbs dry with kitchen paper.
- 5. Strip the leaves from the herb stems.
- 6. Wash the limes thoroughly under hot water.
- 7. Dry the limes with a cloth.
- 8. Cut the limes in half.
- 9. Season the inside of the mackerels with salt and pepper.
- 10. Season the outside of the mackerels with salt and pepper.
- 11. Stuff the fish cavities with the lime halves.
- 12. Stuff the fish cavities with the herb leaves.
- 13. Brush some oil onto the skin of the fish.
- 14. Place the fish carefully into a fish spatula or tongs.
- 15. Place the fish on the preheated grill.
- 16. Grill the fish for about 5 to 10 minutes on the first side.
- 17. Carefully turn the fish over.
- 18. Grill the fish for another 5 to 10 minutes on the second side.
