  2. 2. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise.
  3. 3. Remove the seeds from the center of the cucumber halves.
  4. 4. Cut the cucumber pieces into long, stick-shaped strips.
  5. 5. Cut the salmon lengthwise into strips about 0.5 cm thick.
  6. 6. Cut the nori sheets in half crosswise.
  7. 7. Spread a small amount of wasabi paste onto the nori halves.
  8. 8. Place the nori sheets one by one onto a sushi rolling mat.
  9. 9. Fill the rolls with the prepared salmon and cucumber strips.
  10. 10. Use the mat to shape four firm sushi rolls.
  11. 11. Cut each sushi roll into six equal pieces.
