  1. 1. Open the can of corn and drain the liquid.
  2. 2. Peel the onion and chop it into very small cubes.
  3. 3. Wash the spinach thoroughly and shake off excess water.
  4. 4. Place the spinach in a pot and heat it on very low until it wilts.
  5. 5. Remove the spinach from the pot and chop it finely.
  6. 6. Wash the chili peppers and cut them in half lengthwise.
  7. 7. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers and finely chop the flesh.
  8. 8. Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half.
  9. 9. Add the corn, chopped spinach, onion cubes, tomato halves, and chili to a large bowl.
  10. 10. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar.
  11. 11. Add two tablespoons of oil and the juice of one lime.
  12. 12. Toss all ingredients together well.
  13. 13. Serve the salad best with grilled meat.
