🍽️ Grilled Corn on the Cob with Thyme Butter

Ingredients
- 4 corn on the cob
- salt
- 100 g butter (room temperature)
- 10 g thyme (1 bunch)
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the corn cobs under running water.
- 2. Remove the outer husks and silk from the corn.
- 3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- 4. Boil the corn cobs over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 5. Remove the corn cobs from the water.
- 6. Let the corn drip dry well.
- 7. Beat the butter until creamy.
- 8. Wash the thyme sprigs.
- 9. Shake the thyme sprigs dry.
- 10. Set aside three whole thyme sprigs.
- 11. Pluck the leaves from the remaining thyme sprigs.
- 12. Finely chop the thyme leaves.
- 13. Mix the chopped thyme leaves with the butter.
- 14. Season the thyme butter with salt and pepper.
- 15. Cut the corn cobs into three pieces.
- 16. Preheat a kettle grill.
- 17. Grill the corn pieces for 6 to 7 minutes.
- 18. Turn the corn pieces repeatedly while grilling.
- 19. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- 20. Place the grilled corn pieces into the dish.
- 21. Spread the thyme butter over the corn.
- 22. Close the grill lid.
- 23. Let the butter melt for 2 to 3 minutes.
- 24. Remove the corn cobs from the grill.
- 25. Lightly salt the corn cobs.
- 26. Garnish the corn cobs with the reserved thyme sprigs.
- 27. Serve the corn cobs.
