  1. 1. Peel off the outer leaves and silk from the corn cobs. You can remove them completely or just pull them upwards.
  2. 2. Fill a pot with plenty of water and bring it to a boil.
  3. 3. Add salt and sugar to the boiling water.
  4. 4. Place the corn cobs into the water.
  5. 5. Let the corn cobs simmer gently for about 15 minutes.
  6. 6. Remove the corn cobs from the pot.
  7. 7. Let the water drain off the corn cobs.
  8. 8. Brush the corn cobs thinly with oil.
  9. 9. Place the corn cobs on the hot grill.
  10. 10. Grill the corn cobs for about 10 minutes, turning them occasionally.
  11. 11. Place butter flakes on the grilled corn cobs.
  12. 12. Sprinkle sea salt over the corn cobs.
  13. 13. Serve the corn cobs.
