🍽️ Grilled Corn on the Cob with Peppers

Ingredients
- 2 corn cobs (sweet corn)
- salt
- 1 pinch sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
- 1 small red bell pepper
Instructions
- 1. Cut the corn cobs in half.
- 2. Place the corn pieces in a pot.
- 3. Add some salt and the sugar.
- 4. Pour in enough water to completely cover the corn cobs.
- 5. Bring the water to a boil.
- 6. Simmer the corn cobs for 15 minutes on low heat.
- 7. Drain the water.
- 8. Rinse the corn cobs with cold water to stop the cooking process.
- 9. Let the corn cobs drain well.
- 10. Wash the pointed peppers.
- 11. Halve the peppers and remove the core.
- 12. Finely dice the pepper flesh.
- 13. Insert toothpicks into the sides of the corn cobs.
- 14. Brush the corn cobs with oil or melted butter.
- 15. Place the corn cobs on the grill.
- 16. Grill the corn cobs briefly on all sides.
- 17. Be careful not to let them burn.
- 18. Season the grilled corn cobs with salt.
- 19. Sprinkle the diced peppers over them.
- 20. Serve the dish.
