Ingredients
- 500 ml milk
- 0.25 tsp cinnamon powder
- 5 egg yolks
- 100 g cane sugar
- 50 g cornstarch
- 1 pinch salt
- sugar (for sprinkling)
- cinnamon (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- 1. Add the cinnamon to the cold milk.
- 2. Heat the milk until it boils.
- 3. Remove the milk from the heat.
- 4. Place the egg yolks in a separate bowl.
- 5. Add the sugar to the egg yolks.
- 6. Add the flour to the egg yolks.
- 7. Whisk the mixture with a whisk until it is creamy.
- 8. Pour the hot milk slowly into the egg yolk mixture.
- 9. Pour the entire mixture back into the saucepan.
- 10. Place the saucepan over low heat.
- 11. Stir the mixture constantly with a whisk.
- 12. Let the mixture come to a brief boil.
- 13. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
- 14. Strain the pudding through a fine sieve.
- 15. Pour the pudding into small dessert bowls.
- 16. Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar on the surface.
- 17. Let the pudding cool down.
- 18. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top before serving.
