🍽️ Crispy Chicken with Macadamia

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast fillets (approx. 140 g each)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 50 g macadamia nuts
- 50 g cacao nibs (chopped cacao beans)
- 50 g breadcrumbs
- 50 g flour
- 2 eggs (size S)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the chicken fillets under running water.
- 2. Pat the fillets completely dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Season the fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
- 4. Finely chop the macadamia nuts.
- 5. Mix the chopped nuts in a shallow dish with the cocoa nibs and breadcrumbs.
- 6. Coat the fillets one by one in flour.
- 7. Dip the floured fillets into the beaten eggs.
- 8. Press the fillets firmly into the nut mixture until they are covered on all sides.
- 9. Heat oil in a pan.
- 10. Fry the breaded fillets in the pan until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- 11. Place the finished chicken on kitchen paper to absorb excess fat.
- 12. Serve the chicken on a bed of fresh leaf salad.
- 13. Garnish the dish with spicy chili threads as desired.
