🍕 Fun Kids Pizza

Ingredients
- 0.5 cube fresh yeast (21 g)
- 400 g whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- flour (for the work surface)
- 0.5 green bell pepper
- 12 black, pitted olives
- 20 g chives
- 150 g crushed tomatoes
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 ball mozzarella (125 g)
Instructions
- 1. Stir the yeast into about 200 milliliters of lukewarm water until smooth.
- 2. Mix the flour with the salt in a bowl.
- 3. Make a well in the center of the flour mixture.
- 4. Pour the yeast water and the oil into the well.
- 5. Knead the ingredients by hand or with the dough hook of an electric hand mixer into a smooth dough.
- 6. Knead the dough vigorously on a floured work surface for about 10 minutes.
- 7. Let the dough rise, covered, in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 8. Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
- 9. Wash the bell pepper and halve it.
- 10. Remove the seeds and the white inner membrane from the bell pepper.
- 11. Cut the bell pepper into thin strips.
- 12. Halve the olives.
- 13. Wash the chives and shake them dry.
- 14. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper.
- 15. Drain the mozzarella.
- 16. Cut the mozzarella lengthwise into about 12 thin slices.
- 17. Knead the dough briefly once more.
- 18. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.
- 19. Roll the portions into small, round flatbreads.
- 20. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- 21. Spread the tomato sauce over the flatbreads.
- 22. Top each flatbread with 3 mozzarella slices.
- 23. Place a halved olive on each mozzarella slice.
- 24. Arrange 1 to 2 pepper strips under a mozzarella slice.
- 25. Bake the pizzas in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
- 26. Remove the pizzas from the oven.
- 27. Garnish the pizzas with chives and serve.
