🍽️ Playful whole grain bread sandwich for kids

Ingredients
- 8 slices whole wheat bread
- 40 g butter
- 4 slices cheese (e.g. Tilsiter)
- 4 slices turkey ham
- 0.5 cucumber
- 4 gherkins
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 4 black olives (pitted)
- 1 radish
Instructions
- 1. Spread all bread slices thinly with butter.
- 2. Place one piece of cheese and one slice of ham on four slices.
- 3. Wash the cucumber and slice it into thin slices.
- 4. Set aside eight slices.
- 5. Distribute the remaining slices on the prepared breads.
- 6. Cover everything with the remaining bread slices.
- 7. Press the sandwiches down gently.
- 8. Cut off a piece diagonally from the left and right side of the bread.
- 9. Use these detached pieces as wings.
- 10. The remaining center part forms the owl's head.
- 11. Slice the gherkins thinly.
- 12. Spread the wings thinly with cream cheese.
- 13. Place the cucumber slices on the wings.
- 14. Place two small dollops of cream cheese on the heads.
- 15. Place the fresh cucumber slices on the cream cheese dollops.
- 16. Place a small dollop of ketchup in the center.
- 17. Place the halved olives on the ketchup.
- 18. Wash the radishes.
- 19. Cut four small triangles to serve as beaks.
- 20. Press these with a small dab of cream cheese under the eyes.
- 21. Place the wings against the heads.
- 22. Serve the result.
