  1. 1. Put the butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and eggs into a bowl.
  2. 2. Beat the mixture with a mixer or whisk until creamy and airy.
  3. 3. Take a second bowl and mix the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. 4. Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or briefly in the microwave.
  5. 5. Stir the dry ingredients, wet ingredients, milk, and melted chocolate into a smooth batter.
  6. 6. Grease a baking pan and pour in the batter.
  7. 7. Wash the apricots and pat them dry.
  8. 8. Halve the apricots, remove the pits, and cut them into quarters.
  9. 9. Distribute the apricot pieces evenly over the batter.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (160 °C with fan or gas mark 3).
  11. 11. Bake the brownies for 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
