🍽️ Creamy Lentil Dip

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 1 piece fresh ginger (approx. 1,5 cm)
- 1 garlic clove
- 200 g yellow lentils
- salt
- 2 tbsp soy-based yogurt alternative
- 1 tsp cumin
- pepper
- lemon juice
- turmeric
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onion, the ginger, and the garlic.
- 2. Cut the vegetables into very small cubes.
- 3. Add the chopped ingredients and the lentils to a pot.
- 4. Cover everything with about 400 to 450 milliliters of salted water.
- 5. Let the mixture simmer for approx. 12 minutes.
- 6. Stir occasionally.
- 7. Mash the cooked lentils finely with a potato masher.
- 8. Let the mixture cool down briefly.
- 9. Stir in the yogurt and the cumin.
- 10. Season the dip to taste with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and turmeric.
