🍽️ Chicken and Shrimp Pasta with Smoked Sausage

Ingredients
- 500 g Linguine
- 200 g Shrimp
- 250 g Chicken breast fillet (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 150 g Smoked sausage (cut into small pieces)
- 7 tbsp pureed tomatoes
- 150 ml Chicken broth
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 red bell pepper (finely chopped)
- 2 stalks celery (finely chopped)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp flour
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- salt
- Tabasco
- olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan.
- 2. Add the chopped onion and garlic.
- 3. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat until they are soft and translucent.
- 4. Add the bell pepper, celery, chicken breast, and smoked sausage.
- 5. Sauté everything while stirring constantly.
- 6. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture.
- 7. Keep stirring until the flour has absorbed the moisture.
- 8. Pour in the chicken broth while stirring.
- 9. Stir in the puréed tomatoes and the bay leaf.
- 10. Let the sauce simmer over low heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
- 11. Remove the pan from the heat.
- 12. Season with salt, oregano, and plenty of pepper.
- 13. Add the shrimp to the pan.
- 14. Let the shrimp cook briefly.
- 15. Cook the linguine in plenty of salted water until al dente.
- 16. Drain the pasta.
- 17. Mix the pasta with the mixture from the pan.
- 18. Add 1 tablespoon of Tabasco sauce.
- 19. Taste the dish and adjust seasoning if needed.
- 20. Serve the pasta immediately.
