  3. 3. Slice the ginger into very thin pieces.
  4. 4. Place the ginger, lemon juice, sugar, and 200 milliliters of water in a pot.
  5. 5. Warm the mixture on the stove.
  6. 6. Prevent the liquid from boiling vigorously.
  7. 7. Let the mixture steep for about 10 minutes.
  8. 8. Strain the liquid through a sieve to remove the solid parts.
  9. 9. Allow the lemonade base to cool down completely.
  10. 10. Mix the cooled base with about 600 milliliters of cold sparkling water.
  11. 11. Pour the finished lemonade into glasses.
  12. 12. Serve the lemonade immediately.
