🍽️ Lime Tart with Starfruit

Ingredients
- 200 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 120 g cold butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- zest of 4 limes
- 125 ml lime juice
- 1 starfruit
- 1 tbsp chopped pistachios
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- 1. Quickly knead flour, salt, powdered sugar, egg yolk, the cut butter pieces, and 2 tablespoons of cold water into a smooth dough.
- 2. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- 3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (for gas ovens, this corresponds to level 3).
- 4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
- 5. Line a tart pan with a diameter of 26 centimeters with the dough.
- 6. Prick the dough base several times with a fork.
- 7. Bake the base in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 8. Beat the whole eggs, the egg yolk, and the condensed milk until creamy.
- 9. Stir the grated lime zest and lime juice into the egg mixture.
- 10. Pour the filling onto the pre-baked crust.
- 11. Bake the tart for 30 to 40 minutes until the filling is set.
- 12. Slice the starfruit into thin slices shortly before serving.
- 13. Decorate the finished tart with the starfruit slices.
- 14. Sprinkle chopped pistachios over the tart.
- 15. Finally, dust the tart with a little powdered sugar.
