Ingredients
- 3 untreated limes
- 3 stalks lemongrass
- 1 piece ginger (approx. 25 g)
- 650 g jam sugar
Instructions
- 1. Wash the limes thoroughly.
- 2. Peel one lime thinly.
- 3. Cut the lime peel into very fine strips.
- 4. Clean the lemongrass.
- 5. Wash the lemongrass.
- 6. Cut off the thin end of the lemongrass.
- 7. Peel the ginger.
- 8. Slice the ginger into thin rounds.
- 9. Rinse the jars with hot water.
- 10. Distribute the lime strips, lemongrass, and ginger evenly into the hot jars.
- 11. Squeeze all the limes.
- 12. Top up the lime juice with water until you have exactly 500 milliliters of liquid.
- 13. Add the lime juice and pectin sugar to a pot.
- 14. Stir the mixture while heating it up.
- 15. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- 16. Boil the jelly vigorously while stirring for as long as specified on the pectin sugar package.
- 17. Pour the hot jelly into the prepared jars.
- 18. Seal the jars tightly.
- 19. Turn the jars upside down.
