  1. 1. Wash the herbs thoroughly and shake them dry. Wash three limes and slice them into thin rounds.
  2. 2. Place the lime slices and herb leaves in a bowl. Pour in rum and Gewürztraminer wine. Cover the bowl and let the mixture infuse in the refrigerator for about one hour.
  3. 3. Strain the liquid into a large punch bowl. Top up the punch with sparkling wine. Slice the remaining limes and add them to the punch along with lemon balm leaves.
